Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) invites applications for the position of Director — Mergers & Restructuring Department (Islamabad-based) on an open-merit basis. This senior post requires strong corporate finance, legal and restructuring expertise to lead high-value mergers, amalgamations and schemes of arrangement under company law.

| Qualification | Master’s / Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Accounting, Finance or Law from an HEC-recognized university/institute, or qualified CA, CMA or ACCA. |
| Required Experience | Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in corporate finance/corporate & financial restructuring with preferably at least 3 years hands-on experience managing financial/legal transactions related to mergers, amalgamations and other schemes of arrangement under company law. CA articleship can be considered part of the requisite experience for qualified Chartered Accountants. |
| Nature & Tenure | Appointment on contract basis for a term of three (3) years, extendable based on performance; regularisation may be considered after completion of the term subject to fulfilment of criteria. |
| Age Limit | Maximum age not to exceed 50 years as of the closing date of submission. |
| Inclusivity | Applications encouraged from female candidates, minorities, persons with special abilities, and candidates from Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. |
