Issuer: Punjab Highways Department. Procuring offices: Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Mandi Bahauddin and Superintending Engineer, Highways Circle, Gujrat.
Purpose: Open e-tenders are invited from eligible/registered engineering firms/contractors for special repair and road improvement works in Mandi Bahauddin district. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category/codes and registered on the Punjab e-Procurement website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk). Bidding shall follow PPRA rules (amended up-to-date) and the Punjab e-tendering procedure.
Key submission requirements and conditions:
- Online bid submission via Punjab e-Procurement system only.
- Earnest money: 5% of the estimated/Bid cost to be uploaded in the form of CDR (Call Deposit Receipt). Original CDR must be submitted to the Tender Opening Committee at least half an hour before the opening time, otherwise the firm/contractor will be disqualified.
- After uploading bids online, contractors may attend the Superintending Engineer, Highways Circle Gujrat office on the bid opening date at 13:00 (1:00 PM) to have bids retrieved; bid opening and announcement of quoted rates/successful bidders will follow in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
- Performance Guarantee acceptable as pay order, bank draft or bank guarantee, valid three months beyond the completion date.
- Bidders must quote item rates against each item and the grand total; no total-only quotes will be accepted. Recovery against old material and other standard procurement clauses apply. Procuring agency may reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
All listed works have a completion period of 6 months. Bid opening for all lots is scheduled on 2026-06-17 at 13:30 (1:30 PM).
