Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) (registration renewed for 2025-26) with appropriate field specialization (EE-04 / EE-05 / CE-10 or relevant OP specialization) for transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of HT/LT spun poles for MEPCO Division Alipur.

How to obtain documents & fee
Tender documents available from the Office of the Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Alipur on payment of Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable). Documents may be collected during office hours as specified in the tender notice.
Bid security & performance security
Bidders must submit earnest money (3% of the bid) with the bid in the form of a call deposit issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan. Successful contractor will be required to furnish performance security (5% of contract value) within the prescribed time after approval of rates.
Eligibility & required documentation
- PEC registration with relevant field specialization renewed for 2025-26.
- Contractors must attach CNIC of contractor/Managing Partner/Director and authorized representative documents if applicable.
- Demonstrate cash or cash equivalents equal to a minimum of 40% of the contract value; provide fresh bank statement(s) for the last one year up to date.
- Income tax returns for the last 2 years and registration with PRA are mandatory.
- Bids must be signed by authorized representatives; original documents must be provided when required.
Other conditions
- Submission and opening will follow PPRA rules. MEPCO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to cancel the tender at any stage.
- No electronic bidding is allowed; only printed/tender box submissions as per instructions.
- Failure to provide required securities/documents as per tender terms may lead to cancellation and forfeiture of earnest money.
