Pakistan Railways (Project Implementation Unit – ML-1, China Pakistan Economic Corridor Support Project) invites applications from qualified, experienced Pakistani nationals for a contract appointment as Financial Analyst / Specialist (MDB Financial Management & Loan Disbursement).

Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, ICMA (CMA) or CPA preferred. | Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and loan disbursement; at least 5 years' experience on ADB/World Bank/IDB or other MDB-funded projects. Practical experience with Withdrawal Applications, Statements of Expenditure, Advances/Direct Payments/Reimbursements, financial management/monitoring, ADB Loan Disbursement Handbook and related MDB financial rules, Government Financial Rules, ERP-based systems, PIFRA/SAP, IFRS, advanced MS Excel and financial modelling. Experience on large infrastructure (railway/transport/CPEC) projects is an advantage. | 55 years |
Terms & Application Instructions: Pay package will be as per PPS-11 under the Project Pay Scale Policy approved by the Government of Pakistan. Applicants must submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with attested copies of educational degrees/certificates, professional qualifications, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile and recent passport-size photograph. Experience claims must be supported by documentary evidence clearly indicating nature, duration and responsibilities. Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees should apply through proper channel and provide a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
Applications complete in all respects should reach the office of the Project Director, Project Implementation Unit (PIU) – ML-1, Pakistan Railways within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview as per prescribed selection criteria.
