World Bank-funded BWSIP Invitation for Bids – Flood Management Works (Bohra Wah & Qaisar Wah) in Sibi

Project Director, Balochistan Water Security & Productivity Improvement Project (BWSIP) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for construction works under the Flood Management of Kachhi Plains, financed by an International Development Association (World Bank) credit. Procurement will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement (NCP) using Request for Bids (RFB) in accordance with World Bank procurement regulations.

How to obtain bidding documents: A complete set of bidding documents in English may be downloaded free of cost from the project website. Documents may also be purchased from the Office of the Project Director, Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (Component – A), 117/41-A1, Jinnah Town, Samanquil Road, Quetta upon payment of a non-refundable fee (stated in the bidding notice). Documents can be dispatched by courier at the bidder's expense. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Project Office in Quetta.

Pre-bid meeting and participation: A pre-bid meeting will be held (requests to attend online should be sent by email in advance). Bidders who wish to attend the online pre-bid meeting must request an invitation via email as directed in the bidding notice.

Bid submission and opening: Bids must be delivered to the Office of the Project Director and will be publicly opened in the presence of bidders' representatives. Bids shall be valid for 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by the required bid security as specified in the bidding documents.
