National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the senior management role of Chief Technology Officer (SEVP) based in Karachi. This is a three-year contractual appointment (renewable at management discretion) for an experienced IT leader to drive the bank's technology, digital transformation and cybersecurity agenda.

| Minimum qualification | Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute in Business Studies, Information Technology or Finance |
| Experience required | Minimum 22 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably within a bank, with either: • At least 5 years as Chief Technology Officer or similar position OR • 8 years in a senior leadership role not below one down from CIO/CTO (or equivalent) |
| Key skills & expertise | Core banking systems, mobile & online banking platforms, payment systems, cloud analytics, CRM, ADC initiatives, data analytics, cyber security implementation & compliance, project management, vendor management, stakeholder engagement with regulators (e.g., SBP) |
| Main duties | Provide strategic direction for technology function; develop/maintain operating model and IT policies; lead digital transformation and deployment of banking technology; ensure IT governance, availability, security and regulatory compliance; manage IT budgets, risks and large-scale application implementations |
| Employment type | Contractual for three years (may be renewed). Competitive compensation package and benefits as per Bank policy. |
| Assessment / Interview | Only shortlisted candidates meeting basic eligibility will be invited for panel interview(s). No TA/DA for interviews. |
