Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state‑owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), invites applications for its one‑year Management Trainee Programme (contractual). The programme aims to build capacity of young professionals for exploration, mining and marketing of various minerals. Selected trainees will undergo a one‑year training; this does not constitute a regular employer‑employee relationship.
Key details
Duration: One year (contractual).
Monthly stipend: PKR 80,000 (lump sum).
Selection: Merit-based with written test and interview — 30% academic marks, 40% test assessment, 30% interview. No TA/DA for test/interview. Applications submitted online via PMDC website.
Eligibility
- Local or foreign‑qualified Pakistani nationals with minimum 16 years of education (bachelor’s or master’s) from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
- Maximum age: 28 years as on date of advertisement.
- Minimum CGPA: 3.0.
- Candidates who have graduated in year 2025-26 with or without post‑qualification experience (as stated in the advertisement) are eligible.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and interview.
