Registrar Cooperative Societies Sindh: Public Notice on Status‑Quo Orders for PIDC Employees & Sindh Royal Cooperative Societies (Karachi)

Issuer: Registrar Cooperative Societies, Sindh (Camp @ Karachi). Reference: INF-KRY#4337-2026.

Purpose: To notify the general public that honourable courts have issued status‑quo orders affecting the assets, properties and accounts of M/s PIDC Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Karachi. Additional restrictions and freezing orders have also been imposed by NAB Sindh. Complaints have been received regarding unauthorised/illegal construction and encroachment allegedly carried out under the patronage of society office bearers.

The notice also warns that certain individuals are allegedly disseminating misleading information and propaganda relating to the Cooperative Department and matters concerning M/s Sindh Royal Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., Karachi. The election matter for the latter is pending in the High Court of Sindh and the stay orders remain operative.

Advisory: The public is strictly advised to exercise utmost caution and refrain from making any investment, purchase, transfer, illegal construction or other transaction in respect of the assets/properties of M/s PIDC Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Karachi and M/s Sindh Royal Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., Karachi until further notice or until the status‑quo/restrictions are modified, vacated or otherwise dealt with by the Hon'ble Courts or competent authorities. Any transaction undertaken contrary to these restrictions will be at the sole risk and responsibility of the concerned persons.
