The Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB), under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, invites stakeholders to a consultative workshop on the digitization of the power distribution sector through Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) deployment. The workshop aims to discuss AMI implementation, including installation, operations and maintenance across distribution companies (DISCOs), and to review the draft “Framework for Guidelines for Deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure through Public-Private Partnerships, 2026.”
