National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) invites applications for the post of Assistant Director (Database Security) at its Headquarters in G-5/2, Islamabad.

Location	Islamabad (Headquarters, G-5/2)
Age Limit	Maximum 37 years
Educational Requirement	Bachelor's (4 years) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Cyber Security / Information Security or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with relevant IS certifications or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university (degrees must be attested by HEC).
Experience	Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization in Information Security, IT, Database Administration or Network Device Administration. Certifications/badges in IBM security product or information security certificates (e.g., CySA+, Data+ or equivalent) preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Skills	Install, configure and manage Guardium appliances and agents for database activity monitoring and protection. Perform timely patching, licensing renewal, monitoring and evaluation of database incidents through IBM Guardium. Discover and classify data; prioritize implementation of security solutions and audit database activity including privileged user activity. Conduct database risk analysis and log analytics; ensure backup, disaster recovery and data protection mechanisms. Knowledge of scripting, automation, robotic processes and cybersecurity controls for on-premises and cloud databases. Strong analytical aptitude, troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
Terms & Conditions (selected highlights)	Selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, extendable subject to performance. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; false information will lead to disqualification. Employees of Government/Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at time of application submission. Attested degrees from HEC/relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at interview. Females, minorities, transgenders and differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply. No TA/DA admissible; electronic gadgets will not be allowed during test/interview. Five years’ relaxation in age is already included in the above age limit.
