Key eligibility & requirements
- Pakistani citizens (including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan), dual nationals and overseas Pakistanis may apply on open merit seats. Foreign-nationality/overseas Pakistani/green card/iqama holders may apply on foreign seats.
- Passing NUMS MDCAT 2026 (held on Sunday, 13 September 2026) is mandatory. Minimum NUMS MDCAT pass percentage: 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
- Minimum 60% aggregate in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent (IBCC) / 12th grade with mandatory subjects Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. Minimum twelve years of education required.
- For foreign seats, SAT-II (minimum 550 in each subject) or valid MCAT (USA) / UCAT (UK) with required scores may be accepted where applicable; weightage: Entrance Test 50%, HSSC/FSc 40%, Matric/SSC 10%.
- Possession of CNIC/NICOP/Passport is mandatory for applicants aged 18 and above at the time of admission; Form-B/juvenile document is required for applicants below 18.
