Issuer: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan. Purpose: Invitation for applications from eligible individuals for grant of Customs Clearing Agent Licence under the Customs Rules, 2001.

How to apply: Submit the prescribed application (Form-A) to the concerned Licensing Authority (Collector of Customs) or the offices mentioned in Form-A. Application form and submission details are available from Collector of Customs offices.

Citizenship of Pakistan Not below 21 years of age Graduate from a recognized university Adequate computer knowledge to handle Goods Declaration (GD) in PRAL or CCS Not convicted by any court Sound financial record, duly verified by a bank

Examination & Passing Criteria
The selection examination comprises two parts: a Written Test and a Viva-Voce (interview). Written Test: Total 100 marks; passing marks 50. The written test has two parts: Part I assesses computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, internet use) and Part II covers filing of Goods Declarations, Customs Rules and practical knowledge related to clearing and forwarding. Viva-Voce: Total 50 marks; passing marks 25. Successful candidates who meet licence requirements will be issued a provisional licence subject to completion of formalities as per the Customs Rules.
