NTC Imposes Provisional Anti‑Dumping Duties on Imported Ibuprofen from China and USA

Issuer: National Tariff Commission (Government of Pakistan). Notice date: 2026-10-15. This is a preliminary determination under the Anti‑Dumping Duties Act, 2015, following an application by M/s Zenith Chemical Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., Lahore, and initiation of an anti‑dumping investigation on 2026-07-25 into dumped imports of ibuprofen originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China and the United States of America (PCT Code 2916.3910).

Findings: The Commission preliminarily determined that dumped imports of ibuprofen have caused material injury to Pakistan’s domestic industry. On a preliminary basis, provisional anti‑dumping duties have been imposed for a period of four months from the date of publication to prevent further injury during the investigation.

Hearing and submissions: Any party registered as an interested party may request a hearing under Rule 14 of the Anti‑Dumping Duties Rules within 30 days of publication of this notice. Requests should be submitted to the Secretary, National Tariff Commission, State Life Building No.5, Blue Area, Islamabad.
