National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for senior IT positions based in Karachi. These are contract roles with performance-based renewal and market-based compensation. Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for interview.

Relevant certifications preferred. | Minimum 08 years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on expertise in database administration, platform management, enterprise systems operations (Oracle, SQL Server, Exadata, SAP BASIS or similar), database security, backup & recovery, capacity planning, and vendor management. | Lead database and platform administration functions; develop and maintain standards, procedures and disaster recovery processes; ensure security, performance, capacity planning and compliance; coordinate with internal teams and vendors; support Oracle/Exadata and associated environments. |
| Senior Business Analyst – Core Banking (AVP) | Unit Head – CBA Business Analysis | Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent; or Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant certifications preferred. | Minimum 06 years of IT experience with at least 03 years in business analysis roles, preferably with Core Banking Solutions or in the banking/financial sector. Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills; experience with MS Office and business/process analysis tools. | Gather and analyze business requirements for core banking, prepare functional specifications, support implementations, liaise with vendors and technical teams, validate solutions, and contribute to process improvements and project deliveries. |
