National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Systems Administrator (AVP) in the Information Technology division based in Karachi. The role requires experienced IT professionals with strong Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and systems administration expertise.

| Experience | Minimum 6 years in IT with at least 3 years in Systems Administration or related field, preferably in banks. |
| Key Skills & Knowledge | Hands-on MS Exchange (2019 & Office 365), Microsoft Exchange planning/design/implementation, Active Directory, Outlook protocols (POP3/SMTP/IMAP4), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP; Web proxy servers (e.g., Sophos, Barracuda); clustering/high-availability and replication; Mobile Device Management; virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware); PowerShell scripting; troubleshooting and performance monitoring; Microsoft Exchange & AD security and disaster recovery. |
Main responsibilities include installation, configuration and management of Microsoft Exchange and related systems; deploying centralized policies; resolving antivirus and messaging issues; performing on-site technical support, monitoring server performance and backups; managing vendor SLAs and change requests; maintaining messaging infrastructure availability, security and disaster recovery; and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Employment is contractual for three years with possible renewal at Management’s discretion. Only shortlisted candidates meeting eligibility will be invited for panel interview(s).
