Final Show Cause Notice — Assistant Director Imran Nabi, Sindh Environmental Protection Agency

Purpose: Final show cause notice calling Mr. Imran Nabi to explain his continued absence from official duty following expiry of his five-year Ex-Pakistan leave on 31-05-2026. A prior show cause notice dated 24-07-2026 was replied to by photocopy only; SEPA found the reply unsatisfactory. A hearing opportunity scheduled for 08-10-2026 was not attended.

Action required: The Secretary, Environment, Climate Change & Coastal Development Department, has directed Mr. Imran Nabi to show cause within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice why a major penalty under Rule 4 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 — which may include removal or dismissal from service — should not be imposed. The recipient must submit a written reply supported by relevant documentary evidence and indicate whether he wishes to be heard in person. If no reply is received within the prescribed period, the matter will be decided ex parte in accordance with applicable rules.
