Sarwar Shahida Trust Lahore Tender for Hospital and Medical Equipment

Sarwar Shahida Research Institute of Cardiovascular Science Trust invites bids for the procurement of hospital, medical and essential equipment for Sarwar Shahida Memorial Cardiac Center & Research Institute. The tender publication date is 27 October 2026.

The procurement covers hospital equipment and related items detailed in Annexure-A of the tender documents. Bidders must submit item-wise quotations specifying the brand, model, specifications, country of origin, unit price, applicable taxes, warranty and delivery lead time. The Trust may revise quantities, subject to approval and budget availability.

Equipment and Items

The approved equipment list, quantities, detailed requirements and applicable specifications are contained in the tender documents. Annexure-A forms an integral part of those documents.

Supplier Eligibility

Bidders must hold valid registration or incorporation documents and an NTN, with active ATL status where applicable. Valid sales tax registration is required where prescribed by law. A manufacturer authorization or dealership certificate is required for branded or imported equipment where applicable.

Suppliers must demonstrate relevant experience in supplying medical, hospital or institutional equipment and provide comparable purchase orders or client references, if available. Technical brochures or datasheets and a compliance statement identifying the brand and model of each quoted item must accompany the bid.

Signed and stamped technical and financial bids must include a warranty undertaking and delivery commitment. Bidders must provide details of after-sales service, maintenance support, spare-parts availability and service centres in Pakistan where applicable. A declaration must confirm that the bidder is not blacklisted or debarred by a competent authority and that the submitted information is true.

Tender Documents and Clarifications

Interested firms may obtain complete tender documents from the HR/Administration Department, Sarwar Shahida Trust, Office B-6, Hotel Royal Garden, 19 Birdwood, Kacha Lawrence Road, Lahore, on working days between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM until the submission deadline.

Written requests for clarification must reach [email protected] by 6 November 2026. Any written addenda issued by the Trust form an integral part of the tender documents.

Bid Submission and Opening

Submit one signed original copy and one copy in a sealed envelope marked “TENDER — HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT — SST/SSMCCRI/PROC/2026/01”, bearing the bidder's name and contact details. Technical and financial proposals must be separately sealed inside the main envelope. Prices must not appear in the technical proposal.

Bids must reach the procurement address by 11:00 AM on 10 November 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. Each page and correction must be initialled, and the bid must be signed and stamped by an authorized signatory with supporting authorization. Email, fax or messaging-app bids will not be accepted unless formally permitted through a written addendum.

Bid opening will take place at 11:30 AM Pakistan Standard Time on 12 November 2026 at the Sarwar Shahida Trust office, Office B-6, Hotel Royal Garden, 19 Birdwood, Kacha Lawrence Road, Lahore.

Terms, Conditions and Evaluation

Bidders must submit complete quotations in accordance with Annexure-A. All prices must be quoted in Pakistani rupees and clearly indicate applicable taxes, transportation, installation and other related charges. Bids must include complete product specifications, manufacturer details, warranty information and relevant brochures or technical documents where applicable.

All equipment supplied must be new, unused and genuine, and must comply with the required specifications. The successful bidder will be responsible for timely delivery, installation, commissioning and demonstration where applicable. Delivery periods and warranty terms must be clearly specified in the quotation.

Payment may be made in accordance with the Trust's approved payment terms after satisfactory delivery, inspection and acceptance of the supplied items. The Trust may inspect equipment before acceptance and reject any item that fails to meet the required specifications.

The Trust reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, cancel the tender, or procure items in lots or individually, subject to applicable rules, approval and budget availability. Incomplete, conditional or non-compliant bids may be rejected. Submission of a bid does not create an obligation on the Trust to award a purchase order or contract.

Bids will be evaluated on technical compliance, price competitiveness, product quality, warranty, delivery timeline and completeness of documentation.
