Board of Revenue Balochistan Member Tax Job Corrigendum: Revised Eligibility

The Board of Revenue, Government of Balochistan, has revised the academic qualification, professional experience and age requirements for the post of Member Tax, Board of Revenue, Balochistan, in BPS-20 or another pay scale determined by the Government. These amendments relate to the recruitment advertisement bearing reference PRQ No. 2272/04-11-2026.

Academic qualification: Candidates must hold at least a Master's degree or an equivalent eighteen (18) years of education in Finance, Economics, Taxation, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related discipline from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Law has been omitted from the eligible disciplines.

Professional experience: Candidates must have at least fifteen (15) years of post-qualification professional experience in the public or private sector, replacing the previous requirement of twenty (20) years. This must include at least seven (07) years of senior-level experience in tax policy, tax administration, revenue management, fiscal policy, fiscal law or financial management.

Age requirement: Candidates must be between 35 and 60 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications. The minimum age has been reduced from 40 to 35 years; the maximum age remains 60 years.

Candidates who have already applied in response to the original advertisement and meet the revised eligibility criteria do not need to apply again. All other terms and conditions of the original advertisement remain unchanged.
