PCSIR Jobs 2026 for Balochistan Domicile Holders – Instructor, Research Assistant and Support Staff

The Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, invites applications from Pakistani nationals holding Balochistan domicile under Advertisement No. 3/2026. The positions are offered on a temporary basis and are likely to become permanent. All vacancies fall under the Balochistan merit quota.

Eligibility and age limit: Candidates must hold a valid Balochistan local or domicile certificate. The maximum age is 35 years for all posts under a one-time special dispensation. Further age relaxation, where applicable, will follow government rules. Candidates with higher qualifications and an excellent academic record will be preferred. Applicants already serving in government must apply through the proper channel.

Walk-in interviews: Interviews will be held on 21 and 22 November 2026 at PCSIR Laboratories, near Mian Ghundi, Mastung Road, Quetta. Candidates will be assessed on education and qualifications, subject knowledge, general knowledge and the assessment of the Departmental Selection Committee.

Applicants must bring their original documents and one set of attested copies of degrees and certificates issued by HEC-recognized boards, universities or institutes, together with their CNIC and domicile/local certificate, at the time of the walk-in interview. Fake or bogus information will result in cancellation of candidature, and legal action may be taken at any stage of recruitment or after employment.

Selection is subject to completion of codal formalities and applicable rules and regulations. PCSIR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts, or cancel, postpone or stop recruitment at any stage without assigning a reason. No TA/DA will be paid for walk-in interviews.
