NationalGrid Pakistan Jobs 2026 – Balochistan Quota

NationalGrid Pakistan invites applications from energetic and experienced candidates holding a valid local certificate or domicile of Balochistan for recruitment on a perpetual employment contract. The age limit for all posts is 18–35 years on the closing date. Applications must be submitted online through the National Job Portal by Monday, 23 November 2026.

Eligibility and recruitment quotas: Only residents holding a valid local certificate or domicile from any district of Balochistan are eligible. Open merit, Employees’ Children, Women, Minorities and Disability quotas will be observed wherever applicable. If suitable eligible candidates are unavailable against reserved quotas after the recruitment process, the remaining vacancies may be filled on open merit from eligible Balochistan candidates under Government of Pakistan O.M. F.No.25/2026-BEFCO01 dated 27 October 2026.

Candidates must hold the qualifications recognized by HEC, IBCC or the relevant competent body. Candidates awaiting their results are ineligible. Women, minorities and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. General age relaxation is already included in the maximum age limit for each category; further age relaxation will not be allowed.

Application procedure: Apply online through the National Job Portal at www.njp.gov.pk. Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained. Submit a separate application for each post. Read the prescribed application form carefully and provide accurate information, as candidates will be responsible for incorrect or withheld information. Photocopies of educational documents and experience certificates are not required at this stage. Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information will result in disqualification at any stage, including after employment.

Selection and interview locations: Recruitment will be conducted through walk-in interviews under Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan O.M. F.No.25/2026-BEFCO01 dated 27 October 2026, which grants exemption from written screening tests. Interviews will preferably be conducted at NationalGrid grid stations in Dera Murad Jamali, Quetta, Sibi, Loralai and Khuzdar, or another suitable location convenient for candidates.

Candidates must present original documents and certificates, CNIC, local certificate or domicile, a NationalGrid or government-employer NOC where applicable, and any other documents required at the interview. Minority and disability candidates must provide the applicable provisional domicile or disability certificate issued by a government authority. Candidates removed from service on disciplinary grounds, dismissed or debarred from further employment are ineligible. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Posting and employment terms: The vacancies exist in NationalGrid offices across Balochistan. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Balochistan within NationalGrid’s jurisdiction according to company requirements. They will receive a lump-sum pay package under a perpetual employment contract, with performance-based progression and termination provisions governed by NationalGrid’s contractual terms.

Under Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan O.M. F.No.2/2026-BEFCO01 dated 22 October 2026, identified posts requiring trainable skills such as typing, shorthand or computer proficiency may receive a one-time relaxation from demonstrating the prescribed skill at initial appointment. Selected candidates must attain the required certification through departmental on-the-job training within the stipulated period before probation expires. Failure to attain the prescribed proficiency will result in withdrawal of the appointment. Proficiency will be assessed before confirmation, and failure to acquire the skill will be handled under the applicable probation and service rules.
