Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar DMJ Admissions for January 2027–28

Khyber Girls Medical College, Hayatabad, Peshawar invites applications on the prescribed form for admission to the 14th batch of postgraduate courses in Basic Medical Sciences for the January 2027–28 session.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by PM&DC, have valid registration, and have completed a house job at a PM&DC-recognized institution. Candidates with experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

Application procedure: The prescribed application form is available from the office of the Director, Postgraduate Medical Education Department, Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar, and can also be downloaded from www.kgmc.edu.pk. The non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2,500 must be deposited when submitting the application form. Applications must reach the Director's office within 15 days after publication of the advertisement. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

Selection: Candidates must appear in an entry test conducted by the relevant department of the institution. The decision of the Postgraduate Medical Education Committee regarding selection will be final. Original documents must be presented in person for verification during the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.

Employed applicants: Candidates working in government, semi-government or private institutions or organizations must apply through the proper channel with documentary proof. They must also send an advance copy of their application with the relevant documents. A No Objection Certificate from the concerned institution or organization must be submitted within 30 days of initial selection; otherwise, the selection will lapse.

Programme conditions: This is a full-time postgraduate programme. Selected candidates must obtain leave or deputation from their institution within two months of selection; otherwise, admission will be cancelled. Candidates may not take admission in any other degree, diploma or training programme during the course. Any violation will result in cancellation of admission.
