Key submission and eligibility requirements:
- Bids to be submitted through the E-PAK/EPADS portal. Bid security must be submitted as specified (Pay Order/Demand Draft/Bank Guarantee) in favour of Deputy Director Food, Karachi Region.
- Mandatory documents: company profile and history with addresses and telephone numbers, copy of CNIC(s) of owner(s)/authorized representative(s), FBR NTN certificate, Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) tax evidence, firm/SECP registration certificate, and bank statements.
- Financial & capacity conditions: average financial turnover of last three years not below PKR 100 million; proof of minimum daily lifting capacity of 5,000 M.Ts (attested by Head of Dept./CEO of previous client); firms must possess at least five years’ experience in transportation of wheat or similar work and produce satisfactory completion/performance certificates.
- Fleet requirement and other undertakings: bidders must demonstrate ownership/registration of at least 200 vehicles registered in the firm’s name or provide evidence as required; affidavit on non-judicial stamp (PKR 100) confirming not blacklisted/defaulter and other contractual undertakings.
- Successful bidder will furnish performance security (5% of contract value) in the form and within the time specified by the procuring agency.
