National Bank of Pakistan is hiring a Systems Administrator (AVP) in the Information Technology function based in Karachi. The role demands experienced IT professionals to manage, deploy and support Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, messaging infrastructure and related systems for the Bank.

| Experience | Minimum 6 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in Systems Administration (preferably in banks). Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange (2019 and higher) and Office 365 is required. |
| Key skills / knowledge | Design, planning and implementation of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory; Outlook Web App, POP3, SMTP, IMAP4; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP; web proxy servers and security products; virtualization (Hyper‑V, VMware); mobile device management; PowerShell; system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery and capacity planning. |
| Responsibilities | Plan and execute messaging and AD deployments; provide on-site technical support; monitor and maintain messaging infrastructure availability and performance; implement security, patching and recovery procedures; prepare SOPs/SLAs; coordinate with stakeholders and manage vendor renewals. |
| Employment type / Contract | Contractual appointment for three years, renewable at management discretion. Shortlisted candidates will be called for panel interviews. |
