National Grid Pakistan Tender: Route Survey & Detailed Engineering for Re-routing / Retrofitting of 500kV & 220kV Transmission Lines (Tender No. D(P)-EHV-II-NGC-HYD-03-2026)

Issuer: National Grid Pakistan (formerly NTDC). Invitation to bid under Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure for consulting services to conduct detailed route survey and engineering/design for rerouting or re-routing of existing 500kV and 220kV transmission lines affected by the proposed Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway (M-6).

Scope: Detailed route survey and engineering/design for rerouting/retrofitting of affected transmission lines, including topographic and hydrological surveys, soil/geotechnical investigations, tower spotting and stringing charts, electrical clearance calculations, bills of quantities (BOQ), construction drawings and complete engineering/design documentation for rerouting the affected transmission lines, as detailed in the Tender Document.

Key requirements and conditions: The consultant must meet the qualification and technical evaluation requirements set out in the Tender Document. Firms shall have successfully completed comparable assignments, present experienced key personnel, and supply evidence of financial, technical and equipment capacity. The consultant firm’s participation must be supported by relevant documentary evidence and authenticated signatures. The language of the contract is English. The employer reserves the right to accept the lowest evaluated and technically responsive bidder and to reject bids in accordance with Public Procurement Rules.

Eligibility: Firms registered with relevant tax authorities and meeting experience and technical criteria are eligible to participate; firms must submit documentary evidence of past performance and key personnel credentials as required in the Tender Document.
