University of Malakand Jobs 2026 – Teaching and Administrative Positions at Batkhela Campus

The University of Malakand invites online applications from eligible and interested Pakistani nationals for teaching and administrative positions under Advertisement No. 01/2026 for the project “Establishment of Women Sub Campus at Batkhela, University of Malakand.” Appointments will be on a fixed-pay, project-based contract until completion of the project duration or subject to the availability of project funds. Teaching applicants must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Higher Education Commission, available at www.hec.gov.pk and the University website.

Application Procedure and Deadlines

Apply through the University's online job portal at https://cms.uom.edu.pk/user/login.aspx. The closing date for online applications is November 16, 2026. Preference will be given to local candidates where applicable.

After applying online, submit the original bank deposit slip, a copy of the application form, attested copies of all documents and two recent attested passport-size photographs to the Meetings Section, Office of the Registrar, University of Malakand by November 23, 2026. Applicants must first complete their online applications within the online application deadline.

Applications for the respective posts must be generated as a copy of the online application, accompanied by attested documents and the fee voucher, within the prescribed deadline. Late applications will not be entertained. Additional documents, including certificates, degrees and publications, cannot be submitted after the closing date.

Associate Professor applicants must email all publications in one PDF file to [email protected] and submit four properly bound hard-copy sets of all publications for verification and evaluation.

Application Processing Fees

Deposit the application processing fee and, for Associate Professor applications, the publication evaluation fee of Rs. 5,000, using the prescribed challan generated through https://cms.uom.edu.pk/user/login.aspx. Candidates applying for more than one position must submit a separate application and pay the processing fee for each position.

Eligibility and Service Conditions

Applicants for administrative positions at Serial Nos. 5–7 and 16 must hold domicile within the University's territorial jurisdiction. Appointments to Serial Nos. 5–6 will be made within Malakand Division under Section 04 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act, 2012, as amended.

The age limit is 18–45 years. A 5% minority quota and a 2% quota for persons with disabilities will be observed under government policy.

Candidates serving in government, semi-government or autonomous organizations must submit an NOC from their respective employer with the application and apply through the proper channel. Otherwise, their candidature will be rejected and cancelled without intimation.

Applicants holding foreign degrees or certificates must provide an equivalency certificate from HEC or IBCC, as applicable. Degrees obtained under the semester system with a CGPA below 3.00 out of 4.00, or degrees under the annual system with less than 60% marks, will be treated as third-class degrees.

Salaries will be admissible according to the approved PC-I of the project. No TA/DA will be paid for tests or interviews.

Selection and Further Instructions

Applicants should regularly visit https://www.uom.edu.pk for information and updates regarding tests, scrutiny, demonstrations and interviews. Further correspondence will be made through registered mobile numbers, email addresses or postal addresses.

Assistant Professor applicants will be provisionally allowed to appear for the interview conducted by ETA or the University, where applicable. Eligibility will be determined after scrutiny of the documents of candidates who have passed the written or screening test.

The University will not be responsible for delays or non-receipt of SMS messages, calls, emails or letters for tests or interviews sent by the University or an appointed testing agency.

The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel them without assigning a reason. Errors and omissions, if any, will be rectified according to University rules.
