Sindh High Court Notice to Zubair in Customs Reference Application No. 265 of 2024

The High Court of Sindh at Karachi has issued a publication notice in Special Customs Reference Application No. 265 of 2024, filed by Director D.G. I&I (Customs), Karachi, against Zubair, son of Muhammad Ghani, and another respondent.

The notice is addressed to Zubair, son of Muhammad Ghani, CNIC No. 15602-1468238-7, resident of Faizabad, Saidu Sharif, Tehsil Babozai, District Swat.

The applicant has preferred the reference application under Section 196 of the Customs Act, 1969, against the order dated 18 January 2024 passed by the Customs Appellate Tribunal, Bench-II, Karachi, in Customs Appeal No. K-528/2023.

The reference application and connected applications were fixed for hearing on 1 October 2026, when the Court ordered service of notice through publication.

Zubair is required to appear before the High Court of Sindh at Karachi, either personally or through a duly instructed pleader, on 13 November 2026 at 8:15 a.m., to show cause why the reference and applications should not be admitted. In the event of non-appearance, the reference and applications will be heard, admitted and decided in his absence.

The notice was issued under the hand and seal of the Court on 27 October 2026, by order of Muhammad Jameel, Assistant Registrar, ITR Branch.
