MEPCO Assistant Manager Jobs 2026 – Balochistan Quota

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites applications from professional candidates of either sex possessing a domicile or valid residence certificate of Balochistan for three Assistant Manager positions under the Balochistan open quota. Appointments will be on a lump-sum pay package for a one-year, non-pensionable contract, extendable on satisfactory performance.

MEPCO is a public-sector electricity distribution company serving more than 9.07 million consumers, employing over 15,000 people and operating across 15 districts of Southern Punjab. Its mandate is to provide reliable and safe electricity to consumers within its jurisdiction.

Salary: Lump-sum pay package under MEPCO policy.

Application procedure and deadline: Apply directly through the IUB portal at http://mepco.iub.edu.pk and upload scanned copies of academic certificates/degrees, CNIC, domicile and the paid fee challan. Applications must be submitted and uploaded by 30 November 2026. Applications submitted without applying through the IUB portal will not be entertained.

Age relaxation: The age relaxation available under MEPCO policy is already included in the stated age limit, and no further relaxation will be granted. Government servants who have completed two years of continuous government service by the application closing date will be allowed 10 years of age relaxation.

Application conditions: Incomplete applications, applications received after the deadline, or applications received through any channel other than the IUB portal will not be entertained, and no related claim will be accepted. Candidates serving in government or semi-government organizations or autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with a departmental NOC issued on the department’s letterhead.

Interview requirements: Candidates must produce all original documents at the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. Candidates dismissed or terminated from any organization, or having a criminal record, are ineligible. A declaration confirming eligibility in this regard must be provided at the interview on non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs. 100.

Employment terms: Applications are submitted at the applicant’s own risk and cost. Any information found to be bogus at any stage, during induction or later in service, will result in termination of candidature or employment and recovery of any pecuniary benefits. These positions are purely contractual, non-pensionable and carry no long-term benefits; they will not be converted into permanent positions at any stage. Appointment is subject to completion of all codal, legal and administrative formalities. MEPCO reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the entire recruitment process, or recruitment for any or all posts, at any stage without assigning a reason.
