University of Mianwali Teaching Jobs: Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers

The University of Mianwali invites applications for regular teaching positions in Mathematics, English, Computer Science, Physics, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Psychology, Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Software Engineering and Commerce.

Associate Professor — Mathematics and English: Candidates must hold a PhD in the relevant subject, or an equivalent degree, from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. They must have either ten years of teaching, research or professional experience from an HEC-recognized postgraduate institute or university, or a national or international organization; or five years of post-PhD teaching, research or professional experience from such an institute, university or organization. Candidates must also have ten research publications in HEC-recognized journals, including five publications within the last five years.

Associate Professor — Computer Science: Candidates must hold a PhD in Engineering, Information Technology or Computing, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university. They must have either ten years of teaching and research experience from an HEC-recognized postgraduate institute or university, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization; or five years of post-PhD teaching or research experience from an HEC-recognized postgraduate institute or university, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. Ten research publications in HEC-recognized journals are required, including five within the last five years.

Assistant Professor — Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, English, Psychology and Pharmacy: A PhD in the respective subject, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university is required.

Assistant Professor — Computer Science and Information Technology: A PhD in Engineering, Information Technology or Computing, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university is required.

Assistant Professor — Law: Candidates may qualify through a PhD in Law, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university; an LLM or JD with second division, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university, together with four years of teaching or research experience from an HEC-recognized postgraduate institute or university, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization; or an LLB with first division, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university, together with six years of teaching or research experience from an HEC-recognized postgraduate institute or university, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.

Lecturer — Chemistry and Commerce: Candidates must hold an MS or MPhil with first division in the relevant subject, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university. Candidates must have no third division in their academic career. However, candidates holding a PhD in the relevant field with no more than one third division in their entire academic career are also eligible.

Lecturer — Computer Science, Software Engineering and Information Technology: An MS or MPhil with first division in Engineering, Information Technology or Computing, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university is required. Candidates must have no third division in their entire academic career.

Lecturer — Law: An LLB with first division, or an equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institute or university is required. Candidates must have no third division in their entire academic career.
