Karachi Shipyard Jobs: Chief Staff Officer (Deputy General Manager)

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited invites applications from suitable candidates for the following position on a contract basis.

Required competencies: Candidates must have a strong understanding of corporate governance, organizational structures, business operations, strategic planning, risk management, and performance monitoring. They must demonstrate the ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively with the Board, government authorities, customers, business partners, senior management, and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide timely analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations to support the Managing Director's strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor the Managing Director's decisions, track key deliverables, and ensure timely execution through effective interdepartmental coordination.
• Lead strategic projects assigned by the Managing Director and ensure effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor key organizational risks, ensure timely escalation, and maintain effective, confidential, and efficient Managing Director Secretariat operations.
