Swat Police Final Absence Notice to Constable Abbas Khan

The Superintendent of Police, Investigation, Swat, has issued a final absence notice to Constable Abbas Khan, son of Ayub Khan, service number 293/Inv, a resident of Tehsil Barikot, District Swat.

The notice concerns his failure to report for assigned sports participation in Peshawar despite instructions. It cites correspondence number 156/Sports Peshawar dated 19 August 2025 and Gold Cup correspondence number 95 dated 19 August 2026.

Departmental proceedings were initiated over his absence. A charge sheet and statement of allegations were issued under reference 57/EB dated 20 August 2026, and an inquiry officer was appointed. The inquiry findings record that Abbas Khan had travelled to Saudi Arabia for employment without permission.

A show-cause notice bearing reference 65/EB required him to explain his absence within seven days under the applicable rules and police law. He has failed to submit an explanation within that period.

Abbas Khan is now given a final opportunity to appear before the issuing authority and explain his absence from official duties. Failure to do so will result in unilateral departmental and legal proceedings, which may lead to dismissal from service.
