Banking Court No. I, Karachi, before Judge Muhammad Saad Qureshi, has issued a summons under Appendix B, Form No. 4 of the Code of Civil Procedure in Suit No. 176 of 2026.

The plaintiff has instituted a recovery suit under the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001, for Rs. 1,858,158.06, together with cost of funds, the balance of principal and markup due.
The defendant is summoned to obtain leave from the court within 30 days of service, appear and defend the suit, and arrange for an appearance to be entered within that period. In default, the plaintiff may obtain a decree after expiry of the 30-day period for a sum not exceeding Rs. 1,868,158.06, together with markup, cost of funds, if any, from the date of institution of the suit, and costs as ordered by the court.
Leave to appear may be obtained through an application supported by an affidavit or declaration showing a defence to the suit on its merits, or another reasonable basis for allowing the defendant to appear.
The matter is fixed for 3 December 2026 at 9:00 a.m. before Banking Court No. I, Karachi, at Block No. 55, Pak Secretariat, near the Passport Office, Saddar, Karachi.
The summons was issued under the hand and seal of the court on 20 October 2026, by order of the Reader, Banking Court No. I, Karachi.
