Municipal Corporation Sialkot invites electronic bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for the rehabilitation/repair of Rodas Road (Municipal Corporation Sialkot). Eligible contractors/firms enlisted/renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the applicable financial year and meeting the Punjab Procurement Rules and bidding document requirements may apply.
Key submission details
Bids must be submitted online only via the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login). Submission deadline: 2026-08-17 by 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 1:30 PM in the office of the Municipal Corporation Sialkot in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
Bid security, performance security and validity
Bid Security: 5% of the estimated cost must be furnished through a Digital Bank Guarantee (SWIFT MT760) using the PSID generated from the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical/printed bid securities will not be accepted. Successful bidder must furnish Performance Security equal to 5% of the contract price via SWIFT MT760 in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014. Bid validity: 60 days from the date of opening.
Important conditions
- Only electronic bids submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System will be accepted; manual, emailed, posted, couriered, hand-delivered or otherwise submitted bids will be rejected.
- Bid security will be forfeited if a bidder withdraws during the validity period or fails to execute the contract after acceptance.
- The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids at any stage in accordance with applicable rules.
