Pakistan Railways Lahore Tender for Track Tamping Machinery Maintenance and Operation

The Chief Engineer Open Line, Pakistan Railways, Lahore, invites bids for the maintenance and operation of railway track machinery under the Single Stage–Two Envelope Procedure, in accordance with Rule 36(b) of the PPRA Rules, 2004. Experienced firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and appearing on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayers List (ATL) are eligible to participate.

Both technical and financial bids must be submitted through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS version 2.0) at www.epads.gov.pk. Only bids submitted through EPADS will be entertained, and the bid uploaded to EPADS 2.0 will be considered for evaluation.

The original bid security, in the form of a Call Deposit/ CDR or bank guarantee in favour of FA & CAO/PR, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore, must be physically submitted to the office of the Deputy Chief Engineer/Track, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore, before tender opening. A photocopy of the bid security must accompany the technical bid. Bids without original bid security will not be entertained.

One sealed hard copy of the technical bid, together with the necessary documents required in the bidding documents, must also be placed in the tender box at the office of Dy. CEN/Track, Pakistan Railways, Lahore, by 10:30 AM on 23 November 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on 10 November 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dy. CEN/Track Office, Headquarters Office, Lahore. Prospective firms, joint ventures and companies are requested to attend.

Interested firms may download the bidding documents from www.epads.gov.pk. Bidders are required to register with EPADS and PPRA to access the tender documents and other relevant information.
