UET Lahore Tender for Renting Two Photocopy Shops at Kala Shah Kaku Campus

The Estate Office, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, New Campus, Kala Shah Kaku, invites sealed bids under the single-stage, one-envelope procedure from reputed, income-tax-registered firms, companies and individuals for renting two photocopy shops at the campus.

Bidding documents may be obtained from the Estate Office, UET New Campus, Kala Shah Kaku, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., upon production of a deposit receipt for the non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 1,000. The fee may be deposited into the university's main account maintained with Habib Bank Limited, Engineering University Branch, Lahore, or its account maintained with United Bank Limited, Engineering University Branch, Lahore.

Bidding documents are also available at www.uet.edu.pk and www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders downloading the documents must deposit the Rs. 1,000 non-refundable tender fee into a university bank account and submit the original deposit receipt with their bid. The response period is calculated from publication of the tender advertisement on the PPRA website.

Each bid must include earnest money equal to 3% of the estimated annual rent: Rs. 14,400 for each photocopy shop. Submit this security as a Call Deposit Receipt in favour of the Treasurer, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, along with the respective tender. A bid submitted without the prescribed security will be rejected as non-responsive.

Submission closing times are 4:00 p.m. at UET New Campus and 10:00 a.m. at UET Lahore. Bids will be opened at 10:30 a.m. in the Conference Room adjacent to the Vice-Chancellor's Office, UET Lahore, by the Central Procurement Cell, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend.

A separate tender document and bid must be submitted for each photocopy shop. The successful bidder is responsible for advance tax and all other applicable government taxes under prevailing law. Advance tax must be deposited on the same day as bidding, and the relevant payment receipt must be submitted accordingly.

Telephonic, telegraphic, email and fax bids will not be accepted. Procurement will be governed by the applicable provisions of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.
