PBTE Lahore Medical Advisor Job on Monthly Honorarium

The Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE), Lahore, invites applications from qualified, experienced and registered medical practitioners for contractual engagement as Medical Advisor on a monthly honorarium of Rs. 30,000, inclusive of all applicable taxes.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution and be registered medical practitioners with the Punjab Medical Council / Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), as applicable. At least five years of post-qualification professional experience in a government or semi-government hospital or reputed private hospital is required. Preference will be given to candidates residing or practising near Allama Iqbal Town or Muslim Town, Lahore.

Responsibilities

The Medical Advisor must visit the Board's office at least twice a week to provide free medical consultation and advice to PBTE employees.

The advisor will examine, recommend and verify medical reimbursement claims submitted by PBTE employees under the Medical Assistance Rules, 2025. This includes examining the nature of treatment obtained and providing professional recommendations on its medical necessity and the admissibility and justification of reimbursement claims.

The advisor will also periodically verify medical certificates submitted by Board employees in accordance with the Medical Assistance Rules, 2025, and provide free medical consultation at their own clinic to any PBTE employee or family member seeking medical advice.

Engagement Terms

The monthly honorarium is payable against services rendered. The engagement is contractual and may be terminated by either party at any time without prior notice.
