Municipal Committee Chakwal Development Works and Street Light Material Tenders 2026

Municipal Committee Chakwal invites electronic bids from eligible registered contractors, firms and companies for development works, and from registered suppliers, firms and companies for the procurement of street light material through the Punjab e-Procurement System.

Development works

Development works bidding conditions: Procurement will follow the Single Stage–One Envelope procedure through the Punjab e-Procurement System only. Bidders must be registered with the relevant authorities, including PEC, FBR, PRA and the Punjab e-Procurement System, and possess a valid NTN/PNTN and active taxpayer status. Bid security must equal 5% of each scheme's estimated cost and be furnished in the prescribed form and manner.

Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System by 21 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened electronically on the same day at 1:30 PM. Bids must remain valid for 120 days from opening. The general completion condition requires each scheme to be completed within three months.

Bidders must quote item-wise unit rates strictly in accordance with the BOQ and bidding documents. Conditional, incomplete, late or misleading bids, and bids without valid bid security, will be rejected. All mandatory eligibility, technical and financial documents must be uploaded through the Punjab e-Procurement System as prescribed in the bidding documents.

Bidders are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, levies and statutory charges under prevailing government rules. Works must be executed strictly according to the sanctioned estimate, technical sanctions, specifications, BOQ, contract agreement and instructions of the competent authority. Each bidder must upload a valid PEC Constructor Licence for 2026 with the relevant specialization and category covering the scheme's estimated cost. A missing, expired, invalid or inadequate registration will render the bid non-responsive and liable to rejection.

Additional performance security, where applicable, must be deposited under the Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules, 2017. Quality assurance security applies where the quoted tendered amount is below the estimated cost, according to the prescribed scale in the bidding documents.

Quotation notice: Procurement of street light material

Municipal Committee Chakwal invites electronic bids for street light material with an assessment cost of Rs. 9,986,000. Bid security / earnest money must equal 5% of the assessment cost and be submitted in the prescribed form and manner.

Procurement will follow the Single Stage–One Envelope procedure through the Punjab e-Procurement System only. Bidders must be registered with the relevant authorities, including GST, FBR, PRA and the Punjab e-Procurement System, and possess a valid NTN/PNTN/GST and active taxpayer status.

Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System by 21 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened electronically on the same day at 1:30 PM. Bids must remain valid for 90 days from opening, and the procurement must be completed within two months.

Item-wise unit rates must strictly follow the BOQ and bidding documents. Conditional, incomplete, late or misleading bids, and bids without valid bid security, will be rejected. All mandatory eligibility, technical and financial documents must be uploaded through the Punjab e-Procurement System as prescribed in the bidding documents. Bidders are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, levies and statutory charges under prevailing government rules.

Execution must comply with the sanctioned estimate, technical sanctions, specifications, BOQ, contract agreement and instructions of the competent authority. Any product, material or equipment testing required by the department or engineer in charge to verify quality and compliance with prescribed specifications will be carried out at the successful bidder's own cost. Testing charges and incidental expenses must be borne by the successful bidder, without additional payment from the procuring agency.

Rules applicable to both procurements: Procurement is governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, as amended, the Punjab Procurement Regulations, 2024, applicable government instructions and the bidding documents. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any stage before issuance of a work order under Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, as amended.
